Kapiti Run for Youth overwhelmed by huge business sponsorship

Over the last four weeks The Web Genius Kapiti Run for Youth event has run a four-week business sponsorship campaign.  At closing on Tuesday 13 March, a whopping $13,000 had been committed by 56 sponsors.

“We are hugely overwhelmed and grateful by the response from Kapiti businesses in this campaign,” says Richard Calkin, Founder of Web Genius.

The campaign manager, Helene Judge has been hopping with excitement since the beginning as it became clear early-on that youth in our community is something that resonates with everyone, whatever your profession or time of life.  “At the conclusion of the event on Sunday 25th March, we will distribute 70% of this sponsorship to Kapiti Youth Support so they can continue running their at-risk youth mentoring programme that was done by Youth Quest before their demise.”
